Like I went anywhere? Oh yeah I forgot we just moved!!!
If you look up the word STRESSFUL and CHAOS in the dictionary there will be a picture of a moving van next to it. Yes, moving is that bad. Now comes the easy but time consuming task of unpacking, which isn't easy with a toddler hanging from your leg. Thankfully this move was a learning experience for us. We learned that:
1. People always say things they shouldn't.
2. There are companies who still care about their customers.
3. We should all support our local small businesses.
4. Punks shouldn't be movers.
5. Next time we burn all our stuff and start from scratch!
I really like that last one... hmmmm maybe there's still time? Don't think so. =(
We chose THIS local moving company and even though we had a semi sour experience in the end we are pleased. Our move wasn't perfect and had lots of bumps, but after we contacted the BIG BOSS we were delighted with the quality of customer service that they provided. I highly value quality customer service. Is like buying a pair of expensive designer shoes and having them break on the first wear. You will be mad, disappointed and justifiably pissed with this brand. You are furious and call customer service and quickly realize you might have just gotten the runt of the litter, so there's no reason to judge a whole brand just for that one pair, after all they will replace that pair at no charge.
Hopefully next time there's something more exciting here.... maybe some food!?!?!

Finally!
Six long weeks, that's the time it took us to rent an apartment. Well "sublet" but it was still too damn long. Now starts the hard task of moving all our stuff from point A to point B. Sounds so easy, ha!
I will be neglecting this (like anyone reads?) blog until I can write from our new pad!

Nomness!!
I know that is not an actual word, but I did warn you I was terrible with the English language.
I love food and my waistline (lack of) is proof of this. It is just so difficult to pass up a good meal, but I'm the pickiest person to have ever walked the earth. I would totally list all the things I do not eat but you would get bored of reading. Seriously I probably can live off rice, vegetables and chicken breast for years. Are you bored of me telling you how much I love food? Well my love is so immense that I even take snapshots of my food. See!!

This was dinner a few nights ago, delticious! (which means beyond delicious in our home). I know I'm not a good photographer but doesn't this make you drool? I'm hungry just by looking at it, but is too late to eat.
Let's see what I can cook up next, you know you want to see...

I am not witty....
I have come to the conclusion that I am not an interesting human being, in fact I am rather boring. For the past week I have thought of something clever or witty to post as my first blog, nothing has come to mind. I decided to just come out and say nothing. Well not really, I am already writing so I'm telling you something.
If you've read this far there are a few things I must get out of the way before continuing:
1. I am terrible speller. (I will make use of spell check but really we all know that won't help)
2. I ramble.
3. Sometimes I think I'm funny but in reality I'm just pathetic.
4. I am an adult, but sometimes you wouldn't believe me even if I showed you I.D.
5. I have no clue as to why I started a blog.
Now that we got that out of the way we can proceed. On to what? I don't know. One thing I do know is that we might be moving soon. Now that is something I'm excited about, moving is fun, packing and unpacking isn't. I can't wait for the smell of bubble wrap and cardboard to fill our apartment with it's chemical aroma.
I am still trying to figure out which room to pack first, the playroom, the bedroom, the baby's room or our bedroom. I know the kitchen must be last to pack first to unpack as it is the most essential room in our home.
Did I tell you I LOVE to cook? I really truly do. I'm not a great cook, not even a good one for that matter, but I love it. Is one of the few things I enjoy doing that doesn't feel like a chore. Some day I dream of having a pimped out kitchen with a couple of dishwasher machines. I HATE to wash the dishes, it is the one thing I was born NOT to do. Thankfully my amazing husband does it, which is only fair after I prepare a meal.
See told you I was boring... come back and I can promise you will be bored, or not.
